Able to end one embarrassing streak a week ago, the Green Bay Packers will attempt to end another when they host the Detroit Lions Sunday in the season final at Lambeau Field.
A week ago the Packers (6-8-1) avoided a winless season on the road when they came from behind to beat the New York Jets, 44-38, in overtime at MetLife Stadium.
Sunday they will attempt to end a personal three-game losing streak to the NFC North’s last-place Lions (5-10).
The Lions, like the Packers, will not be headed to the postseason in 2018. But that’s nothing new for them.
