For nearly 13 years, Mike McCarthy pulled into the Lambeau Field loading dock, parked his massive truck and went to work.
Twice this week, McCarthy returned. Only now, he was in the unfamiliar role of being a guest in the building he once ruled.
McCarthy, who was fired as the Green Bay Packers head coach Sunday night with four games remaining, was back in the building Tuesday to talk with his former staff. On Wednesday, McCarthy returned and addressed the players for one final time.
When McCarthy finished talking to the team, he was given a standing ovation.
