If there was ever any chance of Joe Philbin losing the interim tag and becoming the 15th head coach of the Green Bay Packers it likely vanished at the end of this miserable 100th season.
The ending of a 6-9-1 season came in an embarrassing 31-0 loss to the Detroit Lions Sunday at Lambeau Field. Philbin, who took over for the fired Mike McCarthy, ended his interim-ship at 2-2. Both losses came to NFC North rivals.
