That was the picture regarding coveted pass rushers Monday after the conclusion of the first day of official negotiating between unrestricted free agents and interested suitors.
New England’s Trey Flowers, the top pass rusher in the unrestricted market, agreed with the Detroit Lions on a five-year contract averaging in the range of $16 to $17 million, according to ESPN.
Certainly, the Green Bay Packers were paying close attention. Their No. 1 priority between now and the start of the season is to beef up their pass rush.
