Martellus Bennett’s unusual behavior that manifested itself in broad daylight at Nitschke Field this summer came back to roost over the last two weeks for the Green Bay Packers.
On Wednesday, the team released Bennett with the following designation to the NFL office and member clubs: “Failure to disclose physical condition.”
This ended Bennett’s seven-game career with the Packers, one so disappointing that it’ll rank him alongside defensive end Joe Johnson in 2002 as the Packers’ worst signings in unrestricted free agency.
